The reason he does not wish to discuss it is because it is bad treatment , if what you say is true , do not accept this treatment .

Open rough margins will not just go away . They can be near perfect depending on what you pay . Most labs make 10 to 18 teeth a day per person to cover costs . Some make 3 under a microscope and charge accordingly . You should as a rule get what you pay for . These costs are always hidden in the crown price so you will find it hard to know without asking .

Crown and bridgework is a speciality .

answer 2

Zirconia crowns are made from milled ceramic fabricated from a digital scan of the model which the technician produces from the impression that your dentist has taken of your prepared teeth
The milled core is then covered with cosmetic surface ceramic which is built in layers by hand by the technician

As you can see there are many stages where errors can occur BUT they should not

Your dentist should offer to replace these defective crowns but the technician may have a problem matching the new ones perfectly to the other six due to normal variation in the handling of the materials and possible different batches of ceramic used
Alternative to zirconia is feldspathic or lithium disilicate (Emax) ceramic, both of which are bonded to the tooth using a white filling material resin which completly fills any microscopic space between the ceramic and the tooth
